The part a habit tracker gets wrong

The dose does not stay the same.

A GLP-1 course is a ladder. It steps up roughly every four weeks, side effects cluster in the fortnight after each step, and a missed week shifts the whole thing rather than resetting it. Every paid feature in Jura — the reminders, the trends, the doctor export — exists because the log knows the shape of that ladder.

Four weeks per rung

The reminder has to know which rung you are on, not just that it is Thursday.

Effects spike after a step

Nausea clusters in the two weeks after each increase. That pattern only shows up if the log holds both.

A skipped week shifts it

It does not reset to 2.5 mg. Getting this wrong is the difference between a tracker and a to-do list.

One market

Built for Saudi Arabia, and only Saudi Arabia.

Arabic is the first language here, not a translation pass. Prices are in riyals. And the market was not chosen because it sounded good — it is where a GLP-1 is already ordinary: one in seven overweight adults is on one, and most of them heard about it on social media before they heard it from a doctor.

The leaders are paid-dominant. Clearing the gate puts us in an auction, not an empty room.

Shotsy's moat is a person

Half founder transformation story, half credentialed clinician. The story is rentable. The clinician is not a line item.

Pep, Phaze and Hoqnati already ship Arabic

As a translation pass, not Gulf-native — but read it as demand evidence, not as an empty market. Somebody else believed this first.

Counter-evidence, kept on the page rather than in an appendix.

Price

One price, in the middle of the band.

Free keeps your last four weeks and stays free. Plus keeps the whole record. Here is what the three apps already in this category charge:

Pep AI
$3.99/wk · $9.99/mo · $29.99–49.99/yr
PeptidePal
$9.99–19.99/mo · $29.99–79.99/yr
Shotsy
$9.99–19.99/mo · $39.99 or $59.99/yr

Listed in US dollars, as each of them publishes it. SAR 39.99 is the App Store's Saudi price for the $9.99 tier.

What Jura is notRead this

Jura is a log, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease, and it does not calculate, recommend or adjust a dose. It records the dose your prescriber has already given you.

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before you start, change, pause or stop a GLP-1 medication — including anything you read here, and anything the app reminds you of.

Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Saxenda are prescription-only in Saudi Arabia. Jura does not sell, source, supply or import medication, and never links to anyone who does.

We do not support research peptides — no BPC-157, no TB-500. They have no regulatory approval, they have been WADA-banned since 2022, and importing them into the Gulf is a legal risk we will not put in front of a user.

In an emergency, or if you have symptoms that worry you, contact your doctor or local emergency services. Do not wait to log it.
